Stitchers

Sharon Beaulieu is an embroiderer on the Delaware tapestry panel. A resident of Georgetown, DE, she has been stitching for over 50 years. Having learned embroidery through a lady at an outdoor swim club, Sharon has practiced cross stitch, goldwork or other metal threads, raised embroidery, and sewing, among others. While working on the panel, Sharon has utilized a zig zag stitch. Sharon joined our project out of a desire to be part of the 250th anniversary celebration. While working on the Delaware panel, Sharon has deeply enjoyed learning more about Henry Fisher and his protection of the Delaware Bay.
