Pamela Weeks

Stitcher, New Hampshire

Pamela Weeks is an embroiderer who has contributed to the New Hampshire and North Carolina tapestry panels. A resident of Auburn, New Hampshire, she has been stitching for over 50 years. Pamela learned to embroider from her mother in New Hampshire. Prior to joining America's Tapestry, she practiced cross stitch, quilting, surface embroidery including crewel, knitting, and crochet.

While working on the panels, Pamela has utilized the straight stitch and applique, and has learned the Bayeux stitch through the project. She is descended from several Revolutionary War veterans, giving her a personal connection to the history. Pamela was inspired to join by her love of New Hampshire history. Since joining, she has learned about the important involvement of Native people in the Revolution.
