Stitchers

Margaret (Peg) Baselice is an embroiderer on the Delaware tapestry panel. A resident of Clifton Heights, PA, she has been stitching for over 50 years. Having learned embroidery from her paternal aunts, Peg has practiced cross stitch, canvaswork, drawn thread, and surface embroidery. While working on the panel, Peg has utilized cross stitch to work on the Delaware skyline. She joined America's Tapestry out of her love for stitching and a desire to contribute to a project celebrating needlework. Through her participation, Peg has learned about the many ordinary people who fought to establish the United States.
