Stitchers

Lynn Leeds is an embroiderer on the New Jersey tapestry panel. A resident of Medford, New Jersey, she has been stitching for one to five years. Lynn learned her craft through YouTube tutorials and has practiced cross stitch, canvaswork, needlepoint, and quilting including piecework and applique. Her family lived in New Jersey before the Revolutionary War, giving her a personal connection to the state's history.

While working on the panel, Lynn has utilized the backstitch and applique. She was inspired to join after the project was presented to her guild and thought it sounded interesting. Since joining America's Tapestry, Lynn has learned that one woman was able to collect massive amounts of money to assist the revolutionary cause.
