Stitchers

Laurie Buchar is an embroiderer on the New Hampshire tapestry panel. A resident of Bradford, New Hampshire, she has been stitching for less than a year, having learned from Connie Clark. Prior to joining America's Tapestry, Laurie practiced knitting.

While working on the panel, Laurie has utilized the simple cross stitch. She has long been active with local historical associations and was inspired to join by her interest in history. Since joining the project, Laurie has learned a great deal about New Hampshire's crucial role in the American Revolution.
