Elle Sheaffer is an embroiderer on the Delaware tapestry panel. A resident of Newark, DE, Elle has been learning the art of embroidery through Amy Gilley, the co-director of the Delaware panel, while working on the project at the Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library. With a deep love for her state of Delaware, Elle was drawn to the historical aspect of the project and felt she could contribute. As America celebrates 250 years, Elle hopes for continued pride, patriotism, and celebration.
