Stitchers

Christine is an embroiderer on the Delaware tapestry panel. A resident of Middletown, she has been stitching for over 50 years. Having learned embroidery from her grandmother, Christine has practiced cross stitch, canvaswork, surface embroidery, quilting, knitting, and crochet. While working on the panel, Christine has utilized cross stitch. Christine was deeply inspired to join America's Tapestry out of a desire to participate in our nation's historic milestone. Through working on the Delaware panel, she has learned about Captain Fisher and the role he played in the American Revolution. Christine hopes for love and peace as we approach 250 years as a country.
