Stitchers

Brenda Jordan is an embroiderer on the Georgia tapestry panel. Her journey with needlework began 40 years ago with a cross-stitch kit and encouragement from a co-worker who was a member of the Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA). While counted thread is her favorite type of needlework, Brenda's experience is diverse, including Hardanger, blackwork, stumpwork, and canvas. As a Georgian, she was eager to contribute to America's Tapestry, as the project perfectly reflects her love for both needlework and history.
