Bonnie Berman is an embroiderer on the New Jersey tapestry panel. A resident of Baltimore, she has been stitching for over 70 years. Having learned embroidery through an aunt, Patti has practiced many fiber arts techniques including cross stitch, canvaswork or needlepoint, drawn thread embroidery, quilting, surface embroidery, knitting, and crochet. While working on the panel, Bonnie has utilized the long & short stitch, chain stitch, outline stitch, back stitch, and stem stitch. Inspired to join the project out of a desire to help her friends at the Embroiderers' Guild of America Constellation Chapter, Bonnie has enjoyed learning more about Maryland history. Bonnie hopes for peace and kindness as our nation looks towards another 250 years.
